Record Your Slides Presentation—Without Leaving Slides

There's now a Record option sitting right in the Google Slides menu. Click it, and you're recording your presentation with Google Vids built directly into the interface. No switching between apps, no exporting files, no fuss.

When you're done, you get a shareable link immediately. Send it to your client in Chaguanas, your team working from home in San Juan, or your overseas partners—they can watch it whenever suits them.

What This Actually Means for Your Business

Here's where it gets interesting for T&T businesses:

Training materials: Record a walkthrough once, share it with every new hire. No more repeating yourself.
Client proposals: Add your voice and face to that pitch deck. Much more personal than emailing a PDF.
Internal updates: That quarterly review doesn't need everyone online at the same time anymore.
Sales demos: Create a polished product walkthrough prospects can review on their own schedule.

The tool also includes transcript-based editing and voiceover generation. So if you stumble over a word or need to tweak a section, you don't have to re-record the whole thing.

Already Using Slides Recording?

If your organization was using the previous Slides recording feature, you'll still have access to it—just look under View > Slides Recording. But honestly, the new Vids integration is worth trying. It's more capable and the output looks more professional.

Who Gets This?

All Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and even personal Google account holders. It's rolling out now through September 2026.
